Pagsambang Wagas Album Out Today!

The long wait for Musikatha's Pagsambang Wagas album is over as the live recorded praise and worship album hits the market today.

"Every first is not easy. In fact, the very effort to produce this 48-multi-track live recording was in itself a staggering idea to some of our friends in the Christian music recording ministry. Yet Musikatha won't stop at anything short of giving God the best that we could ever give Him. While we admittedly had challenging moments in the post-production of the praise and worship video, I can say that every prayer and hardwork and sacrifice that we put into it was well worth it all. For what we have now is a humble offering of praise unto God that is borne out of our wholehearted love for Him," says Musikatha managing director and lead worshiper Edith Mendoza.

Edith shares that, for the most part, it was the album's post-production that the Musikatha Creative Team found exceptionally challenging.

"We spent a great deal of time in the editing of the video because we earnestly wanted to capture on film the very intimate worship encounter that we had with God during the actual live recording. In our heart of hearts, we pray that people will experience the same glorious encounter when they get to watch it," she muses.

The Pagsambang Wagas album carries 13 all original Tagalog praise and worship songs that are written and interpreted by Musikatha's homegrown songwriters, arrangers, lyricists, and artists.

Songs like Pagsambang Wagas, Sukdulang Biyaya, Sambahin Ka, Salamat Panginoon, and Pinagdiriwang are already being sung in worship services in various churches nationwide.

"Musikatha hopes to play a significant part in our blessed calling as a worshiping nation of the Living God. The best way for us to do this is by producing more praise and worship albums that will bless God and His people. But we are confronted with the reality of piracy, free downloads, free rips, and free online sharing. Thus I want to take this chance to appeal to our brethren to please make sure that you get the original copy of all Christian albums, not just Musikatha's. It goes without saying that your buying the original means our producing more albums, for God's glory and His Kingdom's expansion," she explains.

The Pagsambang Wagas album comes in an audio CD that sells at P250 and a CD-DVD that sells at P399.
